This is an excellent easy-to-use offline browser utility.

Developped by Xavier Roche, Httrack (due to a modular development scheme) is a multiplateforms offline browser utility...

Thus it has two main branchs: WinHttrack and Webhttrack (for Linux and Posix compatibles), those two are very easy to use softwares... and very similar to each other...

Simple to use (it offers configuration and use wizard) it makes possible to copy into your hard disk a complete Web site: recursively rebuilding the entire website structure, and saving HTML, images and other files, in order to be able to browse locally without internet connection and with your usual browser.

It has many extremely interesting features (proxy parameters, filterings rules; capture time programmation, etc) and is fully available in English.

A must-have between GNU/GPL softwares, Httrack can also be used in command line...
